Orders and delivery

How do I place an order?+

Browse merchants in the Sendo app or website, add items to your cart, choose a delivery address and payment method, then confirm. You will see an estimated delivery time before you pay.

Can I change or cancel my order after checkout?+

It depends on whether the merchant has already started preparing your order. Use in-app order details to request changes or cancellation; if that is not available, contact support as soon as possible.

Why was my delivery delayed?+

Traffic, weather, high demand, merchant preparation time, or courier availability can affect timing. Live tracking in the app shows the latest status. If your order is significantly late, contact support.

What if an item is missing or incorrect?+

Report the issue from your order screen with photos if helpful. We will work with the merchant to offer a refund, redelivery, or credit according to policy and local rules.

Payments and refunds

Which payment methods are supported?+

Supported methods vary by region and may include cards, mobile money, wallets, or cash on delivery where offered. Available options appear at checkout.

When will I be charged?+

For most orders, your payment method is authorized or charged when you place the order. Some flows may capture payment after confirmation by the merchant.

How do refunds work?+

Approved refunds are sent to your original payment method or as Sendo credit, depending on the case. Timing depends on your bank or payment provider.

Account and security

I can’t sign in. What should I do?+

Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen. If you no longer have access to your email or phone, contact support with verification details.

How does Sendo use my location?+

We use location to show nearby merchants, estimate fees and delivery times, and connect you with couriers. You can manage permissions in your device settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Will I get marketing messages?+

You may receive optional promotions by email, push, or SMS if you opt in. You can opt out in app settings or by following instructions in messages (for example replying STOP to promotional SMS where supported).

Merchants

How do I join Sendo as a merchant?+

Apply through the merchant section of our site or app. You will provide business details and menu or catalog information. Our team reviews applications according to local requirements.

How are fees and payouts handled?+

Commission and payout schedules are defined in your merchant agreement and dashboard. Payouts are typically processed through verified bank or mobile-money accounts.

Couriers

How do I become a courier?+

Sign up in the courier app or partner portal, complete identity and vehicle checks where required, and agree to courier terms. Availability of openings varies by city.

How are delivery fees and tips calculated?+

Fees may depend on distance, demand, and local rules. Tips you add go to couriers according to the policy shown in the app.

Promotions and coupons

Why didn’t my coupon apply?+

Coupons may be limited by merchant, minimum basket, time window, or user eligibility. Check the offer terms in the promotion details.
